PACIFIC PINES

Suburb Profile

A relatively young suburb north-west of Surfers Paradise, this 9 square kilometre block of land was originally part of Gaven until it was bought by Stockland in 1992. Pacific Pines became an approved name in 1994 after the commencement of the 5000-lot master planned development was launched. The area is popular with young families with ready access to both public and private schools, parks and playgrounds, sporting clubs and shops.

This area continues to be a popular location for local Gold Coasters to buy and rent. With the tram and train station across the highway, behind the Westfield Helensvale Shopping Centre means public transport to either Brisbane or Surfers Paradise is easily accessible.
